Fabulous course

First time playing this course.
Very nicely set out. Greens were a tad difficult to master, very hard, lots of slopes. A very good test
Bunkers probably need a little more sand.
Overall a god day out.
One issue they don't accept cash in the clubhouse

Best it has been in a long time

Wow! The course is looking and playing fantastic at present. There have been a few minor alterations since I last played with a few bunker changes and improvements to the par 8th but the stand out feature for me were some of the natural design features.

Quite a few areas have been left to develop naturally and bunker edgings have also been left to grow which really helps with the look and aesthetics of the course which defines the fairways, bunkers and greens. But don't worry this isn't just an excuse to have really tough rough, the rough was fine, so don't be put off from playing.

The course was in excellent condition, played well and made for an enjoyable round. Well worth playing if you live nearby or fancy a trip along the M1 which the course only being 10 minutes from J25.

Very attract and well maintained course. Works are being undertaken to reshape the course to a degree but these do not seriously detract from the game or the visual beauty of the course. The green, even when wet as they were today are fast & challenging. Friendly, helpful staff in the pro shop & the bar. I was made very welcome a 3 some group of seniors who invited me to join them to make a 4 some. Really good mornings golf - a big thank you to the green keepers for their excellent work in tough conditions.

Gem in suburbia

I play here once a year and will continue to come back. The course and especially the greens are always in fantastic condition, although this year, like all courses, it was struggling with the extended heatwave. The clubhouse is lovely, although, on the day, it was absolutely rammed due to a function, which made for slow service.

played here last week for first time course and greens are amazing. also beautiful club house with history and staff are really friendly. loved the way the old gentleman with the green augusta like jacket on called out your name and club you was representing before teeing off on first tee. brilliant and made it even better for him being a nottingham forest fan.

Golfshake Team ReviewFelt like the first day of summer. Course absolutely beautiful, playing really well and the whole set-up pristine. Despite a few recent issues, the greens are now back to what you expect - firm, true and super quick.

The layout keeps you interested with a nice variety of holes and tree lined fairways, greens are protected well and pin positions can make it a decent challenge with some of the green undulation and variation.

Top quality course in Nottingham well worth a visit. Staff and members super friendly and I never have a round over 4 hours playing here. Make sure you add to your list to play.
