Albeit it wasn't a very nice day weather wise but ?35 for this course is an absolute rip-off. Couldn't tell what was fairway and what was rough as colouring and cut was poor.
Greens in poor condition also.

Bunker Disasters!

The bunkers on this course are a shambles....deep sand wet underneath, deep sand dry, no sand and very shallow sand leave you trying to improvise a shots whilst draining confidence...on other courses its about its about executing the shot on this course its a lottery!

Freezing cold and played terribly but would be a reasonable course if it wasn’t so snowy!

Course in fairly good condition. Bunkers have plenty of sand. Greens pretty good but would not rate as excellent as others have said. Overall found course boring. Flat, very wide fairways with little danger apart from several ponds to catch wayward shots. Signage poor. No maps on card or on signs next to tees, therefore on a few holes left guessing which way the dog leg goes. Generally the course is still maturing and improvement will come.\\\\\\\\\\\\

Well kept and interesting greens but didn't enjoy playing under/next to power lines, next to major road, having to cross some housing estate roads, and quite a lot of housing close by.

Nice course will be better once it matures. Club house and facilities are also quite nice. Greens are very big and were in very good condition.

Friendly in the pro shop. IMHO £25 is too much for a course that isn't that mature or particularly well kept.

I get to play this course regularly because our club play them in matches, but this was the first time playing it with a Society I have recently joined. Quite a few in our Society are not enamoured with the course, so not all wanted to play there. In the end, the course was in quite good order, although as usual the greens seemed to be very hard, so it was impossible to stop the ball on a full shot in for anyone who couldn't hit the ball as hard as the pros do!! Bunkers were fairly good, although the ones I saw needed raking. Fairways suffered badly in the heat of 2018, and have not recovered. Full English breakfast was part of our deal, and the food was good, although not much of it.

Good value course in good condition

My friend and I play at The Bedford a few times each year and it is one of our wet weather courses because of its excellent drainage. We played in January 2109 on a cold day and found it to be in good condition. It is a relatively flat course though not without some interesting and challenging holes. The food at the clubhouse has always been good and it was no exception on this occasion. We will definitely play here again.

Flat and well drained.

This course is let down by the bunkers which are filled with 'builder's sand' containing far too many stones/gravel.
