Course ok. first cut too long and second cut was ridiculous. greens pretty good but pins were in tough positions.

Course hadn't been mown due to a broken down mower, so the fairways and tee boxes were very poor. but the greens were pretty good. just needs a cut!

Visited at weekend good course and I’m good condition but the score card has no map on so not ideal for first timers playing this course, map would help and needs better signing for the tees directions you get lost on some of themReviewer Rating

First time back here in a long time. really good condition. greens and tees generally good apart from 1st hole. fairways quite narrow but rough was forgiving. Great value for money and will definitely be back.

Played last year and the greens were awful... a friend recommended we return as it had improved. It has. Very average course, cant have too many complaints. Great layout and a real challenge. Worth a try, each to their own

The course is in excellent. The first may have a big eye sore down the left (although looks like its being shaped and when seeded will be good feature) but the rest of the course is in excellent condition. The greens are very good and very quick. It was so quiet and i'm amazed by this because the course is in the best condition in years. If they can keep it at this level all summer then i will certainly be back.

I played here on Saturday 18th March 2017 along with the chap that penned the previous review strangely enough!
Considering the horrible weather it was a very enjoyable experience - all credit to the club for just keeping it open as our closest local course was closed. All greens were playable and putts rolled true. It's a real test of golf in my opinion with some of the longer par 4s becoming more like par 5s
Pace of play was decent due to the weather although we've played this course numerous times in the last year and it's always been much better than most courses we play
It's reasonable value for money, a lot of golfers would equate it to a really nice Muni, and compares favourably to the other courses we play in the north west
Overall I would recommend if you're looking for a hilly, challenging track with great views

It's a really good layout and a real thinkers course. The condition is acceptable considering it is still open when all alternatives are closed due to inclement weather.
