Very poor condition overrated

The course is in absolute terrible condition not very friendly staff in the clubhouse food is a very poor standard just not worth the money

Very disappointing

Played on 13th august was told on the phone it was £44 to play when we arrived was then told it was £54 but they omitted To tell us the greens had been hollotined and sanded.
Made a complaint after 9 holes but the chap in the shop wasn't interested.
Made a complaint via email but wasn't surprised that I got no reply.
Unless you get to play via crown golf which comes as part of the package I would avoid as is overrated and overpriced.

Not as exciting as expected

I had had my hopes built by others telling me what a nice course this was but expectations were over set. Yes there were some scenic holes with water especially close to the end but it was mostly flat or gently rolling & the fairways were very wide. The greens generously sized too but they could have been far quicker & with greater breaks so one to see how it plays later in the year.

Quality course

A lovely golf course with excellent staff and a very warm welcome. Greens were surprisingly slow though for an August day.

A nice and long course!

Lovely, rolling course - plenty of up and down fairways. Was quite boggy which made for difficult fairway shots, plus lots of worming on show, creating piles of mud often. But nice course, can imagine it's gorgeous in summertime.

NIce Parkland course

Not bad condition for March. A little wet and muddy but where isn't. Its a nice venue, with some good holes. The par threes are very good
