Hill - Fantastic course and great place
Really lovely course would love to try the other (Valley)Greens in great condition, plenty of variety from the get-go, and plenty of good hazards on all sides, 9/10 would play again

Golf with friends
Played both courses over 4 days although only played the Valley once due to buggy requirement and weather restrictions, both courses have their own challenges, although we all thought the Valley was the more challenging. Both Hill and Valley courses were in very good condition,Reviewer Rating

Valley Course - Loved it.
Played after a heavy nights rain but the course was in excellent conditions. Greens were obviously a little slow but very true. The par 3 holes as a collective are absolutely magnificent. Facilities and staff in the Pro-Shop were excellent.Only negatives - signage between holes needs significant improvement. The many wood sleepers on bridges are lethal when wet.
Would I return - definitely, without hesitation

a lovely course
The course is very nicely maintained, greens are spot on and run true. tee boxes could do with a little levelling off is a minor comment.(Round played: Jul 2021 - Score: 88 Handicap: 13.2)

Two courses for breakfast through evening meal!
Just a pity that there were no stroke saver books for the Valley Course and the information on the tees is not as helpful as some courses, but everything else was supberb.Reviewer Rating

Great Course, testing..just needs investment
Five of us travelled 30 plus miles to once again play the Notleys after a period of four years. We had a great discount price of ?14. Previous rounds here, had seen badly cut fairways and poor greens, however, this time there was a great improvement in playing conditions and although some fairways needed a good cut, it's a fantastic course, challenging and physically demanding at times. The staff were excellent, friendly and very helpful. Although the clubhouse is a little tired, I believe some investment would elevate this course to another level. We are going back very soon to enjoy the experience again.Reviewer Rating

Not a course for the high handicapper
Testing conditions for a high handicapped golfer. Rough is a real ball stealer on most holes and plenty of water about. If your handicap is single figures you would find this a good challenge.(Round played: May 2021 - Score: 112 Handicap: 35.3)

Lovely views
Super course, but lots of time wasted looking for the next tee. Well kept tees and greens. Loads of golfers using buggies, almost a race track.(Round played: May 2021 - Score: 158 Handicap: 43.4)

excellent hotel based course.
I play this course quite often as friend is a member there. During the past eighteen months improvements to the condition of the two courses have made it into a very attractive proposition. The two courses offer a different challenge with the Valley Course recognised as the most demanding. Don't let it's name fool you The Valley has some elevated tee positions. Play both courses, neither will disappoint.Reviewer Rating

Game with Stuart
played in very very windy conditions with the majority of the holes played into a side wind which made the course play a lot harder than it should have done(Round played: Jun 2020 - Score: 86 Handicap: 10.7)
