Tough off tees
Tough test of golf with tree lined fairways making shots off tee very difficult, course in great condition with nice greens.(Round played: Jun 2020 - Score: 93 Handicap: 15.3)

Best this winter
Been playing a different course each week in the SE with a limited budget & this has been so the best. Fairways excellent. Greens the best. To get a degree of summer roll after the wettest Feb on record speaks volumes. Not surprised they had 2 Socs ahead of us though & shame this slowed us down enough to get the Kitchen Closed 2 minutes ago message but will def def go back. Young?s beer on tap too.Reviewer Rating

Banstead downs is a relaxing course, very good greens and easy to walk, nice people around the course, just be careful crossing the road.

Played June 2019 - One of the best maintained courses I've played in a long while. Excellent greens, which is something I look for over anything else. Saves you more shots being the theory!Really helpful staff in the pro shop. The course was a tiny bit same same on each hole and but very enjoyable none the less. Will return but £30 green fee a little steep for a quick return.

Coming out of winter it's still a bit patchy but worth playing on the twilight rate. Can get a bit slow if there are matches on (got stuck behind 4 x 4 balls, wasn't let through so skipped ahead and played the 16 - 18 loop twice instead)

Immaculate greens in a lovely setting
Took up the option of a £20 introductory green fee and will definitely return for another crack. The course is in excellent condition and the greens are the best I've played on for a while(Round played: May 2018 - Score: 107 Handicap: 19.7)

Nice course, great facilities
Course in good condition given the very wet weather, nice challenging greens which were very true, great hospitality with very friendly helpful staff.(Round played: Mar 2018 - Score: 90 Handicap: 18.3)
