Nice course when we played , greens were in a bad way full of sand and holes everywhere

Wasn't impressed, very overpriced and we were playing in a society - they didn't even have longest drive/closest to the pin markers???

A really nice course in the centre of Belfast - made even nicer by the fact that on the Sunday that I played for the first time the green fees were reduced from £40 to £15 as 2 of the greens were closed.
The whole course is relatively flat and I must say actually suits my game quite well as a fair few of the par 4's are dog leg left to right. A fair few of the par 4's are quite long - most around the 400-415 mark.
There is nothing particularly intimidating about the course as a whole and nothing that really stands out but it is kept in very good condition and you would have to be on your game to shoot a decnt score around here.
One thing that was noticeable was the speed of the greens. they ran very true and were very quick. A couple of them had some serious undulations on them that meant 3 putts are always a distinct possibility. This probably was not helped by the fact that this was my first time playing the course in about 16 years and only my second time ever - and it is less than a mile from my house.
All in all a very enjoyable experience, not least because the Kings Head over the road does a great Sunday lunch!!
