1st played today, excellent course, very friendly staff, very well set out, pace of play very good, I would definitely play this course again, will also recommend this club to anyone one too.

Face don't fit then your not welcome. Just had a really bad experience at Ballards.Staff where really nice but that's where it stopped.
Played many of times with friends who are members and up till today not had bad word to say.
But today
No marshaling for slow play.
Golf course could do with a cut. Super long in first cut and fairway.
Slow play.
The offer to play though was not acknowledged at all by members if front.
2x4 balls (waiting time was round 10 minutes)
Playing as a 2 ball myself today.
Must of had there blinkers on today.
3x 2 balls gave up and walked in due to wait time behind me. We was the 4th to give up.
Didn't stop to see of Beer was cold. Although could of done with 1.

Nice little course
I played with a friend who is a member. Some really great holes and a few boring ones but all in all a nice little local course if you're in the area or looking to play somewhere new. Friendly members and good facilities.Reviewer Rating

Big hitters need only apply
Lovely course, well mainted, very long having par4s playing par 5 at other courses
Some challenging holes and water hazzards in play,
Club house lacked atmosphere but that's due to aesthetics not clientele
Would defniatly return and recommend

Greens played inconsistently as some where quite water logged and others dry and fast.
Fairways were in good condition but players need to repair their divots .

Course in very good condition for the time of year. Well maintained and very friendly club. The course has some very long holes and plenty of challenges. Definitely come back.

Great value for tee times before midday on consecutive Fridays. In very good condition. Challenging course with lots of trees and water. Need to think rather than blast your way round. Friendly pro shop and bar staff. Highly recommended.

(Round played: Sep 2016 - Score: 89 Handicap: 10.3)..ballards gore is a bit hitters course with only minor imagination required. If u hit big then you will enjoy but wayward or short off tee and you may struggle to score well. Club house has zero atmosphere I'm afraid.

Booked course online and only payed £12 for a round. Course was in very good condition, some really lovely holes. Quite long par 5, not to many par 3's but an enjoyable course. Go of the fairway and your ball can be hard to find. Overall, very happy with the round!
