What the club says: Located just 1 mile outside the historic market town of Henley on Thames, Badgemore offers the visiting golfer a challenging, cleverly designed but most enjoyable 18 hole layout. Stunning views await as you play through historic park land amongst numerous mature specimen trees that themselves form part of the course’s defence and beauty. Set upon the Chiltern Hills, the course benefits from superb natural drainage and this is complimented during dry spells by a full fairway irrigation system ensuring greens, tees and fairways are always in pristine condition and a joy to play on. Visitors are most welcome to Badgemore and we are proud to be recognised as one of the most friendly club's in the area.

Most Helpful Review

Front 9 is good, but shared tees are slightly annoying. Course design gets a bit crazy on the back 9. Far too man doglegs/right-angles - they seem to have tried to fit 18 holes into too small a plot of land.

Well worth a visit
This is the first time I've played Badgemore at this time of year so the soft and slightly muddy fairways were a little disappointing (preferred lies were order of the day), the greens were true and consistent.

Full English breakfast and Beef Baguette were very nice and staff were pleasant and helpful.

An enjoyable experience
Made a late decision to play Sunday afternoon as my wife and myself were staying in the area. After ringing to enquire about tee times they gave us a slot that suited us fine and as a additional bonus they reduced the green fee by £5 each - £25 pp on Sunday afternoon I thought was very reasonable.
