Ashbourne
Played here on a sunny Sunday evening and really enjoyed the course. The tees, fairways and greens were in really good condition, and as far as the holes go my favourite was probably the uphill par 3 9th, although I enjoyed all of the par 3's.Of the rest the downhill par 4 11th will remain in the memory, and the 12th will have you wondering just how far you can afford to hit your tee shot with water at the bottom of the fairway.
With one or two exceptions the fairways are reasonably friendly, so a course that anyone can really play. I'm not saying they'll necessarily score well though. The greens are pretty tricky though.
It's not a flat course, so if you have any issues with a few climbs then this might be one to consider getting a buggy. It is worth playing though.

First time there
The course is beautiful, it is hilly so im glad i used a buggy, everyone there was welcoming and said hi, the warm up facilities are great, the pro shop is very small and there werent any course guides which i could have done with, the bacon butty at the halfway house was 10/10, i will return.Reviewer Rating

Lovely course in the edge of the Peak District
A quite challenging course for all abilities, with great views! The course is well maintained with consistently good greens. All the par 3?s provide a challenge, then there are a mixture of more challenging par 4 and 5?s with some that appear more straight forward. A course you have to plot your way round.Reviewer Rating

Course in best condition I have seen. Greens like glass, very challenging. Thought the price of the buggies was a bit high, ?20 , for single occupancyReviewer Rating
