Society day
The staff where very polite and friendly the breakfast was very good the course was very good and very tricky but great to play the greens where very good fast and true if u want to play a great course give it a go u won’t be disappointedReviewer Rating

Fantastic course for a very good price

Ashbourne is a lovely golf course with spectacular views of the surrounding Peak District. The course is hilly but a fair test of golf for all levels.

Peak District gem
Course in great condition and absolutely picturesque in the Peak District landscape. Good combination of dog legs, reachable par 5?s, and tricky par 3?s. Warm up and practice facilities include free range balls, chipping and putting greens. All in good nick. Clubhouse staff very friendly and a lovely post round pint in a lovely setting.Reviewer Rating

The Course is in excellent condition and is a credit to the greens staff. With the scenic views, interesting holes and friendly club house, this is one course in Derbyshire that you should definitely check out.

The course was in excellent condition for the early part of December. Most holes had winter tees and this shortened the course but this seems a sensible way to protect tee boxes. Teeing up on fairways also but as I seldom land on a fairway this was not a problem :-) Full use of summer greens and these were in excellent condition. Fabulous views, some really interesting holes and friendly staff and members. Will definitely go back, in the summer I reckon it would be akin to an inland links course with the hills and tough rough.

Ashbourne
Played here on a sunny Sunday evening and really enjoyed the course. The tees, fairways and greens were in really good condition, and as far as the holes go my favourite was probably the uphill par 3 9th, although I enjoyed all of the par 3's.Of the rest the downhill par 4 11th will remain in the memory, and the 12th will have you wondering just how far you can afford to hit your tee shot with water at the bottom of the fairway.
With one or two exceptions the fairways are reasonably friendly, so a course that anyone can really play. I'm not saying they'll necessarily score well though. The greens are pretty tricky though.
It's not a flat course, so if you have any issues with a few climbs then this might be one to consider getting a buggy. It is worth playing though.

Lovely course
Played here in brilliant afternoon sunshine on a quiet Monday. Visitor rate only £25 after 2.00 pm so great value for money. The course is very picturesque with some great views of the surrounding area. The course conditions reflected the lack of rainfall in recent weeks, especially the greens. It is quite hilly in parts so I was exhausted at the end of my round having used a push trolley. The staff and members were friendly and helpful.Reviewer Rating

First time there
The course is beautiful, it is hilly so im glad i used a buggy, everyone there was welcoming and said hi, the warm up facilities are great, the pro shop is very small and there werent any course guides which i could have done with, the bacon butty at the halfway house was 10/10, i will return.Reviewer Rating
