The course was really nice, greens in great condition and overall fantastic value for money. This is a great course to give you the links feel without it being overly difficult. Definitely worth a go.

Course in beautiful condition. Greens true and good pace. Old layout but bunkers and burn make you think about your drive on every hole. Rough is cut back and helps with quick play and gives you a chance to find a wayward shot.

Didn't quite get the colour of the flags on the greens. One colour for pins at the back of greens. One colour for middle positions and a third for front. Very strange.

This course is a real gem in Angus.
As someone that resides in Angus, and is new to the game, I think this course is often overshadowed by some famous neighbours and would urge anyone in the area to give it a try.
Played a quick round on impulse on a Friday afternoon after work with a money-off voucher from the local paper.
I couldn't be more delighted I did: I almost had the course to myself. Straight fairways that led to very well-kept greens for this time of year. Condition of the course seems great all round.
This was my first Links course experience. I enjoyed it immensely, despite the foggy weather, and will definitely be back soon.
Professional at the Proshop was exceptionally friendly.

Links type course. Greens good, fairways vary in condition with some rabbit burrows on a couple. Tricky if windy. Friendly welcome. Tend to play this at times when others are closed as often on full greens when others are closed or on winter greens

played regularly with friends who have course membership.
no drastic elevation changes as the course sits just behind the east coast railway line. good links course with burns running across several holes, greens tend to be in very good condition. you get a nice calm day and the course is a joy. once the wind gets up then its tiring.

Very tight and challenging course, the wind when it gets going gives you another barrier to a good score. Overall a great course and good value

Short but very testing. Accuracy is more important than distance. Thw wind can make it a very stern test of your golf, as the rough is very penal. The course is always in outstanding condition.

Lovely seaside links course. When the wind gets up, as it did in the back nine, the holes can get much longer and a lot more challenging (not that they are easy in calm). Accuracy and positioning are key and paying attention to the several burns cutting across fairways helps avoid penalty strokes. Course is very well maintained.
