As someone that resides in Angus, and is new to the game, I think this course is often overshadowed by some famous neighbours and would urge anyone in the area to give it a try.
Played a quick round on impulse on a Friday afternoon after work with a money-off voucher from the local paper.
I couldn't be more delighted I did: I almost had the course to myself. Straight fairways that led to very well-kept greens for this time of year. Condition of the course seems great all round.
This was my first Links course experience. I enjoyed it immensely, despite the foggy weather, and will definitely be back soon.
Professional at the Proshop was exceptionally friendly.

no drastic elevation changes as the course sits just behind the east coast railway line. good links course with burns running across several holes, greens tend to be in very good condition. you get a nice calm day and the course is a joy. once the wind gets up then its tiring.
