Lovely course on a beautiful afternoon. It's just a shame that the greens were in such a poor state. The ball was bouncing and bobbling off line. Some greens had deep grooves in them from what looked like tyre tracks! And they were heavily sanded. If the greens were good this would be a great par three course. Come on Ampfield, get the greens sorted.

A great course to hone your iron play. Holes are not very long but can be difficult for a high handicapper. Downside is that it gets really wet in winter which makes it unpleasant to play from October to March

Played here yesterday and enjoyed it. Front 9 a tad longer and straighter with back 9 having lots of trees and loads of bunkers , all in testing spots.Course in good condition especially greens. Good bar and very good(and relatively cheap) pro shop. £13 for par3 course is a bit pricey however.Overall really good for beginners , kids and more capable players who need to sharpen up their short game!

Seemed a little expensive for a par 3 course. Expected a little more quality from the holes, mind it had been wet for a while.

I played here in a competition not so long ago and found it quite a nice easy and fun way to brush up on my short game. The course is quite nice although could be kept in better shape. The bar is quite good.

Friendly club

Lovely course
