Greens need attention
Greens in bad shape, course quite muddy, but generally okay for mid-winter, good pace under 3 hours for two ball.Reviewer Rating

Shortish with interest but poor greens
Muddy following a few days of rain, but fairways reasonable, however greens still in poor state. Short but interesting course.Reviewer Rating

Very poor
Falconwood course is just a big field with tee boxes at one end and flags at the other - the fair value of a round of golf here should be about £5 for 18 holes, it is more like £22. Totally unkept, disgrace of a course. Championship course is much better but management are so poor there are drunk people going round. AVOID.Reviewer Rating

Disappointing
Didn't start off well - no scorecards, only a photocopy of one, and then saw a 6 ball teeing off on the first tee. Thought I was seeing things. Whilst we were playing we also saw a couple of groups of 3 using one buggy and two sets of clubs between them, with the third person standing on the back of the buggy. Not usual golf club etiquette. The course wasn't in very good condition but this was expected due to the long hot summer we've had. Friendly staff.Reviewer Rating

No indication whether the flags are front middle or back of green??
Too many single players going round? No attempt to pair them up . So they are constantly coming up behind 2 and 4 balls. No urgency in serving refreshments before tee offs?
But all in all good club and we enjoy the course

Beware the slopes
With fairways bone dry, it is impossible to keep drives in the middle of the fairways. On the first hole, drives to the top of the slope rolled down and vanished in long straw. Best avoided until we get rain.Reviewer Rating

Good course
Good course that flows well. The course isn't too long but provides some challenging shots.Reviewer Rating
