What the club says: Although not the longest of courses, what this tantalising parkland experience lacks in distance is more than compensated by the thought provoking shots created by a series of small streams and tree plantations. Ideal for anyone seeking a casual round of golf

Home course
Very good course with updated back nine, just a pity no golf GPS app has the new back nine holes yet, I’m sure when they do will be even easier to judge distances(Round played: Jun 2020 - Score: 88 Handicap: 0)

Great little course
Tough enough course. Have to drive the ball straight to ensure second shot has a chance to get on the green. Greens in pretty good condition(Round played: Jun 2020 - Score: 102 Handicap: 24)

Course in Really Good Condition
The greens vary in pace a little but the whole of the course is looking fantastic.Whilst short this couse requies straight drives and approach shots. It member only at present as golf opens up in Northern Ireland after the coronavirus crisis. The new greens, added in 2019 are not yet 100% but they play reasonably well.
Note: from next week the routing of the course will change. This will be challenge with no score cards being available and all electronic score cards needing an update. Lets hope the signage is updated in a timely manner.

(Round played: Mar 2019 - Score: 90 Handicap: 22.6)

A work in progress
Quite an unpleasant abrupt man in pro shop when buying rounds, wasn't told we'd be off mats on fairway until we paid then told we had to pay £1 for matt(and a £5 deposit). We let some members through at the 1st they told us that 4 holes that are closed! Course considerably shorter due to winter tees and temporary greens . Course pretty wet, but it is Feb in Belfast. No signs at all pointing to next tee meant we missed a couple. Greens temp and permanent are very poor quality. Won't be back until work done and course dryer.Gave a generous fair rating this might rise to good in summer when works complete.
Many better courses for the money when using popular apps

Changes to the Aberdelghy Course
Four holes (14-17) are closed due to a change to the course layout. The work that is underway will add a stroke to the course and it's due to be complete by December. A temporary green in use on Hole 1. Further work is also planned to improve the facilities. Surprisingly I can find no official confirmation on the LCCC website, but on the course the work has already started.

Value for Money,
Council course, and despite being short with no par 5 holes, each hole is distinctive and challenging enough for beginners and higher handicapped players.

Short tight course
Nice tight track stay straight and your ok can be soft in winter tho at times(Round played: Oct 2017 - Score: 82 Handicap: 18.7)

Aberdelgy Golf Course
Municipal Golf Course, Shortish course good for practicing your mid to long irons as few holes require anything more than that even off the tee.(Round played: Aug 2017 - Score: 99 Handicap: 24)

(Round played: Aug 2016 - Score: 93 Handicap: 21.1)
Very good value for money........................
