beckside golf course is the best golf course i've been too and i'm really gutted when it's closed.

Excellent value for money. Tidily kept and neat greens although they are very tight for the yardage for the par 3 holes.

Fantastic location and condition. Very hilly and a stern test of golf, even though quite short.

For a course that seems to have been converted from a couple of farmers fields, it is a beautiful course with stunning views. Due to the hilly location this course is deceptivly difficult for us new starters to the sport. However this makes for a more exciting and worthwhile round. Very much recommended for any body who is visiting the Lake District.
