All tee boxes were void of any form of grass have not seen water since the last rain. Most of the greens were fine and quite fast but some were very parched and some were over watered and soggy. It should be made clear that this was during the warmest weather the UK has experienced in a long while.

Fairways were as long as the rough.\Tee boxes had hardly any grass on them and were uneven.\Next to no sand in the bunkers.\Greens were really patchy.\\The course itself has a bit of potential and has some nice holes.\Just needs a decent greenkeeper.

The good, the bad and the ugly

This may be a little unfair as it's very early in the season and we've had a lot of bad weather but... Most of the tee boxes are bare and uneven. A lot of the fairways have long grass, making your second shot as tricky as coming out of the 1st cut of rough. There are grass cuttings all over. That said, the green keepers appeared to be very busy so it may improve with time. The greens are very fast and in good condition, if the rest of the course was like the greens it would be very good. The course is quite long for a 9 holer and allows you to use all your clubs. The clubhouse is small but clean and the staff are friendly. There's a very nice outdoor seating area overlooking the course.

Course is evolving and needs some attention to the Bunkers and Tee boxes, Course extremely hard and needs a good watering and tee boxes in a poor condition, but a fair challenge and good for a quick 9 holes if you need a swing

Too much to pay for 9 holes and absolutely no concessions from the owner who charges full whack no matter what. You can easily find much better value courses without having to travel too far. I like the course itself, but unfortunately it does not drain well.

Price is poor at £11.50 for 9 holes, shocking weather so decided to start 9 holes again after completing 5th hole. However, when we finished a rather abrupt owner asked one of girls to charge us for 18 as he couldnt understand why we had finished so late. Actually charged us for 18 holes (£17) even though dark at this point and we had only played 14! If greens could deal with water we wouldnt have had to start again.

Only played it once, it is new course (2006), fairly short with no par 5's. It is 9 holes only and needs to develop.

Ok

Not bad for beginners/fun.
Some of the tee boxes were lacking grass which makes the shorter holes where you don’t need to tee up not the best.
The greens are also far from desirable.
The fairways are well maintained, rough isn’t too rough, not too many trees to get stuck in.
