Set in its own 200 acre parkland estate, the George Washington Golf and Country Club is a 103 bedroom hotel offering the latest modern amenities and conferencing facilities. Friendly staff will ensure that guests thoroughly enjoy their stay. Great course
Tricky one these days, as this is my home course these days. Quite tight off the tee, and a great variety of holes. Basically I love it, play it when you're in the North east, I'm sure you'll love it too. Have a chat to Bill, he's great.(Round played: Sep 2018 - Score: 84 Handicap: 12.8)

Very nice course in great condition
Enjoyed a evening summer round, course in very good condition. Greens very good and true. Played at 6pm and pretty much had the course to ourselves.(Round played: Jun 2018 - Score: 91 Handicap: 19.4)

Not sure
Visited this course as was in Newcastle for the British Masters in 2017. Course was only ok, could be looked after more in areas..... would not play again but another course tick off.Reviewer Rating

Great parkland course
This is my home club, so I know it well. Well laid out, and quite tight, with many tree lined fairways. Can get a bit wet in winter, but from spring on is usually in great condition. A good test of golf.(Round played: Feb 2018 - Score: 83 Handicap: 12.2)

Lovely championship course the George washington
Long course with some challenging holes. Nice wide fairways and in good condition especially in the summer weather. The 6th hole is particularly interesting and challenging to play. The club house staff and pro shop personnel are very friendly and helpful. I really enjoy the course and I look forward to my next round. Value for money wise it is first rateReviewer Rating

Great Course
This has been my home course this year, and I really like it. Quite tight, so needs accuracy off the tee, but some good strong holes. Can get a bit wet in the winter, but that's typical of a lot of parkland courses.(Round played: Nov 2017 - Score: 82 Handicap: 12.7)
