Will be back

Great course with the option to play 3 differnt 9 hole courses. All have their challenges but layout of all 3 is great.

Ideal to get a late tee time as the course seems to get quiter late afternoon. Early or mid day can generate some wait times as others are coming of the other courses ready to start their back 9

Impressed

I've had a few weeks off this summer and played a few nice courses that I've never played before.
Today I played the Woodland and Lakeland loops at The Dorset.
The greens are absolutely lovely, undulating and beautifully manicured.
I was very impressed with the Woodland course because I really enjoy playing well designed courses that require real thought and planning rather than stand on the tee and bash it courses.
Nice putting green, great outside seating area.
Will return

Rough grass too long

Course generally very good incl greens. There are places where a marginally bad shot goes in the extended rough and is very long grass, making difficult to find balls. Hence delays in completing the round

Always worth a visit

27 Holes giving wonderful variety. Tight woodland testing your accuracy and dangerous water features come into play. Definitely worth playing.

I’ve visited Dorset Golf and Country Club a few times and have always had a really good time. With three loops of nine to choose from it's very easy to spend a pleasant day there. Courses are always a challenge, the hospitality is great.

Always enjoy playing here

Considering all the rain flooding a lot of the bunkers the course in general was very good with the greens running true.

Great Resort

Really great resort which we were lucky enough to visit last week. 8 of us stayed in one of their Scandinavian lodges which was superb. Course was brilliant, made up of 3 separate 9s. Only issue with the course was that the bunkers were pretty unplayable and need work. Food and service was excellent.
