9 times out of 10 a 'thin' into the bunker if I were to try it! Makes it look so easy.

I used to play the lob shot all the time but now try to avoid it, my lob wedge (Calaway 60 degree) has now almost become obsolete. Its a useful shot but I feel that having a lob wedge in your bag stops you having another club that you will use more often. I bought a gap wedge (Cleveland 52 degree) and its not only a great club but always the club I choose to chip with

This shot is a total confidence shot, one of my favourites.

Laying open the clubface to increase the loft is something we have all been doing for years but totally unnecessary with the new wedges having increased amount of loft.

I'll try this. Couple of hints. Practice may prove to be useful!

He makes it look easy, but what's the reality of hitting it as well as he did and getting similar results?
