by Keith Bailey on 7th March 2008I used to play the lob shot all the time but now try to avoid it, my lob wedge (Calaway 60 degree) has now almost become obsolete. Its a useful shot but I feel that having a lob wedge in your bag stops you having another club that you will use more often. I bought a gap wedge (Cleveland 52 degree) and its not only a great club but always the club I choose to chip with

by John Pettitt on 1st March 2008This shot is a total confidence shot, one of my favourites.
Laying open the clubface to increase the loft is something we have all been doing for years but totally unnecessary with the new wedges having increased amount of loft.Overall rating
