Just tried this out at the range this morning and it does appear to work. Out of 60 drives I would say I sliced 4 and the rest went far more straight than would usually be the case. Playing a tournament on Tuesday si will be trying this out for real for the first time.

Tryed this this wednesday, hit 8 out of 8 fairways reduced my fade drastically allthough still only got 3 perfectly straight drives. Distance seemed to improve as well so thumbs up from me
