About my golf
I have always been interested in golf and played a local pitch and putt now and again with friends when I was at school. I didn't start playing 'proper' courses until I was about 18 and only then played once or twice a year. I have been trying to play a lot more over the last two years and I feel I am getting better but not consistent enough. I have shot 88 twice but then I can go and shoot 100+ the following week. I had half a dozen lessons in December 2008 and had another six over winter 2010. I enjoy playing social rounds with friends but find it hard to drag myself off to the range to practice so I will never be great My target for 2010 was to get down to 24 handicap and I am currently playing off 24 so I managed that one. Hopefully I will be able to get it to under 20 in the next year but I'm just happy getting on the course and getting round without too much embarassment.
