Course review : Golf de la Jonchere

This place is absolutely gorgeous! We played it in July last summer and we had to knock on the window to get the staff out of bed... it's not exactly busy which is a shame as it is a beautiful course with two amazing signature holes, the 6th and 7th, which involve a lot of water! There are two gites attached which look idyllic - converted barns with pools, lots of wooden beams etc. I highly recommend Golf de la Jonchere if you're in the Limousin area.

Course review : St Deiniol Golf Club

Visited with workmates on a Monday in July. Course very quiet - no-one in clubhouse, shop and bar closed and no honesty box so we had to fiddle around a bit to make sure we had paid by the time we left. Course itself is very hilly and visitors would benefit from a simple course planner as there are many blind shots. Frustrating to cane your drive over the direction marker dead straight only to find it nestled behind a tree! However, a very interesting layout, with some awesome tee shots, and good fun.
