My Reviews

Course review : Westonbirt Golf Club

No bunkers or water hazards, but plenty of ways of getting into trouble. Tight par 3s and tempting fairways with trees and fields lying in wait. A great course for beginners.

Course review : Cleeve Cloud Golf Club

Heaven in the summer; Hell in the winter. You take your life in your own hands walking down the occasional fairway due to crossovers. Some fantastically testing holes.

Course review : Rodway Hill Golf Club

Always open. Friendly and helpful staff. Great facilities. Course is a bit boring to play at times, very much up and down, however there are enough challenging holes to make the round worthwhile. If you like big hitting, this is the course for you.

A fabulous course, with some amazing views. Challenging all the way around. Great facilities and a friendly atmosphere.

Course review : Vivary Golf Club

Testing, but cramped. Greens poor. Dangerous in places due to close proximity of fairways to each other. A wayward shot can in places cross 3 fairways. Worth a visit if only as a challenge.

Course review : Orchard Golf Club

Greens are usually in excellent condition. A picturesque course with plenty of water and bunker challenges. Basic but welcoming 'family feel' clubhouse. Could do with more alternative tee positions to differentiate the course (currently only 3 out of 9 holes have different tee positions). Membership excellent value.
