by David Preston on 4th June 2008very good layout and a decent test of golf! fairways and greens let this course down as it is mowed i believe on a rotor basis and this made it a little bit poor on greens and fairways. greens were slow, very bobbly and hard to judge. not a bad course though and very well set out worth a game but better if you catch it on a good day!!

by David Preston on 31st March 2008played this course after a bout of bad weather! the people were very freindly and welcoming. unfortunately the course didnt meet quite up to expectation. the fairways were very bare and the greens very sandy. i appreciate that some of these conditions were due to winter etc but it made it a very a long and frustrating day!!!!

by David Preston on 20th February 2008The coarse has been lengthened considerably on the back nine holes. This has made it far more of a challenge. This coarse is still good for the beginner / high handicapper, but also retains a degree of difficulty. the reception at Six Hills is always warmly welcoming and the food is very good too! overall for 19 quid at the weekend this is one the better all round municipal courses in Leicestershire. You can play on the real green stuff pretty much all year round, altough they do use tee mats in winter . Well worth a visit!
