22/09/2007, just had a good round of golf @ darenth valley, good day. played golf with my eldest son Jamie. plays off 26 over all score 111. he played well but had to be on standby for work, make a note do not use a M/phone while playing golf, you tend to lose your concentration just a bit. the thired player was lol, lawl, or was it lawrence, also played off 26 overal score 107. my score was off 13, 93. score was not very good but had a great day, played well or thought the score was bad. putting is a bit of a problem at the moment, but the driving long irons and approach was very good. wedges were on song for the most part, but not as good as they should be. but over all a good day was had by all.

the course is one that has to be played at least one time in your golfing life. not the easyest but great too play, the new course also designed by the golden bear, (the best player so far and a very good designer), we played both courses between the 6th and the 9th august. weeks before and after was very wet, but the week we had was hot and for the most part dry, the tuesday was very humid and wet for about an hour. had some of the best golf i've played. greens were fast but fair. puttng was deadly thank the golf gods. when windy you can pay the price for going of the short stuff, so be warned (er course management,) ha ha. but have a good time i did.
