Is a demo available ?

Yes, demo account now available !!

The golfshake.com site should work with any internet compatible browser. Please note that we are in the process of updating and testing with all browsers and Operating Systems.

Can I use if not in the UK ?

Yes, but at present we haven't put the golf handicap system live for other countries. EGA, AGU, USGA golf handicap tracking will be added soon !

Why can't I see the whole of the screen ?

The site is optimised for a screen resolution of 800*600 and above, anything less will not view fully.

My screen res is 800*600 but information is still off the screen ?

If you browse the internet and have your favorites or the search bar listed on the left handside this will reduce the window size, try closing these down.

Am having problems logging in although I know my username and password are correct ?

The sites uses session based authentication. Some cookie blocking software and high security cookie settings my restrict access, although no information or cookies are stored directly on your PC.

Will the site calculate my golf handicap ?

Yes the site will track your golf handicap.

Do you work out golf points for rounds played ?

Yes we use the British stableford points scoring system to calculate golf point splayed for each of your rounds. The features is also use for the golf competitions.

Do you provide a golf certificate ?

The golfshake.com system provides a free online golf handicap certificate for all our accounts. The golf certificate can also be set to allow anyone to see your current golf handicap and golf certificate online.

Is the golf handicap an official golf handicap ?

Unfortunately not at present although we are investigating the costs involved of setting up this service. Although we are using a system similar to the official golf handicap calculations and the golf certificate we provide has been known to be accepted at golf courses worldwide. Check with the course before they may accept a printed or fax copied of our golf handicap certificate.

Can I track rounds with my friends ?

Yes you can either create a golf competition and enter rounds for you and your golf buddies or even have your own golf society or golf group.

Will your golf system cope with my golf society ?

Yes you can create a golf society/group to store all your golf societies competitions and track golf player performance, golf competitions and golf society leaderboard.
