Societies and managing multiple accounts

With over 700 societies already on the golfscoretracker system, the society facility is a great way to create a private or public area for you and your golf buddies to compare scores and access competitions and the society leaderboard. You can even create additional accounts that you manage yourself from within your society, so your buddies do not even need to be members of the site but you can still track their rounds and handicaps.

New this month is the ability to create public societies that allow anyone to view your society pages and results. This will be updated further to allow you to upload your own logos and create a message board soon.

Society creation and access

You can easily create or join a golf society from the society section. This page will also provide you with access to any societies you are already members and a list of the public societies.

Setting a society to public and sending messages

Administrator get access to additional options from the society section and from the edit option are able to delete societies, set access to public and send messages to all society members.

Setting the golf society to public only means that non golfscoretracker users can access the site via it's own URL and from a link on the main golfscoretracker site, you do not need to be a member of logged in to view the society competition results, society leaderboard and the golf members.

The 'Click here to set complete public access' will take you to the page to set access and provide you with the link to your own public golf space.

The send PM to all members allows you to send a Private Message via the golfscoretracker system to all members of the society, this will be sent via the online system so that you can see who has read and replied.

Managing multiple accounts

To create additional accounts for your golf buddies that you can manage from your own account, either access the option from the society system or from the tools section.

Managin multiple accounts allows you to enter rounds for your golf buddies and even create golf competitions to check the performance for you and all your buddies. The golfscoretracker will provide access to similar statistics for your gof buddies as well as tracking their golf handicap online. From within your own account you will have access to see their performance and golf handicap report. This featureis a great supplement to the golf society and golf competition facilities.
