Watch Fuzzy Zoeller's Physics Defying Hole in One!

By: Golfshake Editor | Mon 11 Jan 2016

When standing on the tee awaitng to play your shot to an inviting par three, many players at least briefly imagine the event of the ball inexplicably fininishing up in the hole. How would you celebrate that moment?

If you are Fuzzy Zoeller, winner of the 1979 Masters Tournament, you remain impeccably cool. That is even more impressive considering just how unlikely his ace was, having played his shot onto the fringe of the green, it looked to have come to a standstill, but inexplicably started rolling off the slope and into the depths of the hole. Extraordinary!

Would like to hear Dr. Brian Cox attempt to explain that one. Defies the laws of physics!
