ECCO Golf expands 2015 Men’s Tour Hybrid Shoe Range

By: Golf Shake | Wed 04 Mar 2015

ECCO has added several styles to its popular Tour Hybrid range, including on-trend wingtip models featuring Kara leather for a distressed finish and rich, textured grain.

Combining hand-crafted elegance with the patented E-DTS outsole technology, Tour Hybrid is equally suited to the boardroom and country club. Worn in competition by ECCO Golf staff players Ernie Els and Thongchai Jaidee, the shoes deliver outstanding levels of lightweight comfort, performance and convenience. Each pair boasts a moisture-wicking Second Skin leather lining and removable ECCO Comfort Fiber System insole for enhanced climate control.

ECCO new Hybrid Range

“Classic styling paired with a hybrid outsole remains one of the hottest trends we see right now,” says Michael Waack, Head of Global Golf at ECCO. “It’s perfect for those who prefer a more refined wardrobe, or want to head right from the office to the course without changing shoes.”

Like all ECCO golf shoes, Tour Hybrid models are created using the advanced Direct-injection Process. This bonds the upper and outsole unit, creating a one-piece shoe construction without the use of glue or stitching. Benefits include a strong, water-tight seal, outstanding flexibility and out-of-the-box comfort.

To ensure superb weather resistance, the premium leathers of Tour Hybrid receive the exclusive, tanned-in HYDROMAX™ treatment that lasts for the life of the shoe.

In addition to Els and Jaidee, the ECCO men’s golf collection is worn in competition by Fred Couples, Graeme McDowell, Thomas Bjørn, Marcel Siem, Wu Ashun, Will Wilcox and scores of other Tour stars worldwide.
