Titleist celebrate success at 2013 majors

The Pro V1 franchise has underlined its position as the #1 golf ball of choice at this weeks’ USPGA Championship, Titleist Pro v1 where the Pro V1 and Pro V1x models top the golf ball count at Oak Hill Country Club. The impressive count completes a clean sweep as the golf ball of choice for the majority of the field at each of this year’s Major Championships, and follows the long-running success stories that continued at both the U.S. Open and The Open Championship. The count also builds upon impressive counts and outstanding success for Titleist golf balls across worldwide professional tours, and underlines their performance excellence as a result of manufacturing and process excellence.

87 of the 111-player field at the USPGA Championship put their trust in the feel and consistency of a Titleist Pro V1 or Pro V1x golf ball. The count mirrors the success at this year’s U.S. Open, where Titleist continued golf’s longest running success story as the golf ball of choice at the U.S. Open for the 65th consecutive year.
