Wirral Golf Classic Chance to Play Hoylake 2014 Open Venue
This September, club golfers have the chance of playing the course set up for the Open Championship at Hoylake the following summer.
The Wirral Golf Classic, a 72 hole open stableford competition, is open to golfers of all abilities, male and female, and will be played on Hoylake and three other fine links courses on 23 – 27 September, with all golfers enjoying one rest day during the week.
The three other links, overlooking the rivers Dee & Mersey are;
- Caldy, a Qualifying venue for the 2012 Ricoh Women’s Open
- Wallasey, final qualifying venue for the 2014 Open Championship
- Heswall, venue of The R&A’s Junior Championships.
The entry fee is attractively priced at £229*, just over half the green fees of these clubs alone and includes the opportunity to win over £3000 worth of prizes from Titleist as well as two social events.
Started only 3 years ago, the Classic has attracted over 200 golfers from the UK and abroad, and has enjoyed huge success with 100% satisfaction rates in both 2011 and 2012 from competitors.
