Las Colinas Golf and Country Club Launches Innovative AimPoint Putting Clinics
Posted by: Golf Shake on Fri 17 Aug 2012
Las Colinas Golf and Country Club, located just south of Alicante in the stunning region of Valencia and regarded as one of Europe’s finest golfing destinations is inviting both members and guests to take advantage of a revolutionary new green reading technique this summer.
The innovative AimPoint Green Reading Method has been used by the Golf Channel since 2007 for live broadcasts and now Robert Mitchell, Head PGA Professional at Las Colinas Golf & Country Club is holding a series of coaching courses having gained the honour of being the first certified AimPoint Instructor in Spain.
Hailed as the most effective ever way to read greens, the AimPoint Green Reading philosophy has been adopted by some of the world’s finest golfers, including the likes of Justin Rose, Padraig Harrington and six time Major Champion, Nick Faldo. It teaches golfers exactly why and how a putt breaks, so you never have to guess the direction or amount of break again.
Throughout August and September, Las Colinas Golf & Country Club will be holding a series of two hour clinics where Mitchell will guide participants through the ground-breaking putting technique and how to take advantage of it in both practice and competitive play. Whether you're a professional or an amateur golfer, AimPoint Green reading uses a scientific formula to accurately predict how putts will roll and will transform your game by teaching you the one aspect of putting which is never taught--exactly where to aim.
“In all my years of teaching I have never come across such an effective and thorough way of teaching putting,” commented Mitchell. “I am immensely proud to be the first certified AimPoint professional in Spain and look forward to welcoming guests and teaching a method that I have no doubt will knock shots of their scorecard.”
To book your place at an AimPoint clinic call Las Colinas Golf & Country Club golf shop on +34 965324004 or email academy@lascolinasgolf.es. Golfers can sign up individually, or in groups if preferred. For full pricing information please visit website www.aworldapart.com.
