Golfshake Awards Give Your Game Focus

Golfshake Awards and BadgesKnow Your Game, Incentivise Your Game, Play Better Golf

The Golfshake awards and badges are a new addition to the Golfshake score tracking system, first introduced in 2011, which allow golfers to add additional incentives to their game, add an element of fun plus provide focus for playing better golf.

The awards are automatically allocated when golfers add their golf rounds to Golfshake's leading online score tracking application which is used by over 60,000 golfers from around the world and are split into several areas for fun, for challenges and for focus.

 

Birdie StreakFocus Your Game

To help focus their game golfers can earn awards which can be used as incentives before and during the round which include;

  • No 8s - keep the dreaded snowman off the score card
  • No 7s and No 6s - keep 7s or 6s off the score card
  • No 3 putts - never take more than 2 putts on any hole
  • Early Birdie - Birdie the first hole
  • Birdie streak - a round with 3 birdies in a row
  • 2 clubs - A shot and a putt on a par 3
  • plus many more including hazard free, recording a birdie and sub score rounds

Drive for ShowChallenge Your Game

Additional challenge awards are available for golfers looking to set their golfing goals high, these include;

  • Hitting every fairway in a round
  • Hole in one
  • Albatross award - the elusive double eagle
  • Birdie Challenge - birdie every hole, over multiple rounds, for one course ?
  • Drive for Show - hit a par 4 green in 1 shot
  • Big hitter - hit a par 5 green in 2 shots
  • Sub 70 - score less than 70
  • Sub 30 putts

Golf ExplorerGolf is Fun

Finally we all know that golf is a challenge, a sport and more importantly supposed to be fun.   Additionally more fun aspirational awards to fuel our passion for this game include;

  • Golf Adventurer - playing 20 different courses
  • Golf Traveller - playing golf in 3 or more countries
  • Golfer - playing a round of golf for 12 weeks in a row
  • Golf Fanatic - playing 4 rounds in a week
  • Golf Explorer - playing 100 different courses & playing in 3 or more counries

 

Many more awards are available and existing members can view awards already earned and those available by logging in to Golfshake and accessing the score tracker home page.
