The Matchplay Championship has extended the closing date for the 2012 / 2013 event to midnight on July 7th 2012, as golfers across the UK & Ireland look to revel in the bright lights of Dubai in the luxurious Grand Final at The Els Club.

The 2012 Championship was recently showcased on Sky Sports, as the new champions in the Men’s Pairs, Mixed Pairs and inaugural Men’s Singles Champion were crowned in front of a National TV audience. A ground-breaking new hotel partner was announced just last week, with finalists hosted at the JW Marriott Marquis Dubai in May 2013.

The JW Marriott Marquis Dubai is the world’s tallest dedicated hotel and will no doubt add to the once-in-a-lifetime experiences provided by the UK’s largest amateur event.
