Glenmuir Launches Lightweight Cotton Knitwear

glenmuir-4150Glenmuir, one of Europe’s leading golf apparel brands, has added four superb new garments to its hugely popular Men’s Supersoft Cotton knitwear range for Summer 2012.

Ideal for cooler early mornings and late afternoons, the Lanark-based, Scotland company’s new ‘Shandwick’ and ‘Bodmin’ sleeveless v-neck slipovers, ‘Melville’ v-neck sweater and ‘Falmouth’ zip-neck top look set to be best-selling additions to the product line-up.

All four garments – which are ideal for layering – are designed in breathable and machine washable 100% supersoft cotton and coordinate with shirts, trousers, shorts and waterproofs in this season’s two contemporary colour palettes of Provence and Antigua.

The lightweight ‘Shandwick’ sleeveless v-neck slipover features a classic and distinctive diamond raker design on the front panel, in contrasting lines; and a classic Argyle diamond design in contrasting colours on the front panel characterises the excellent ‘Melville’ lightweight cotton v-neck sweater;

glenmuir-1-4150For golfers with more conservative tastes, the smart solid-colour  ‘Bodmin’ sleeveless v-neck has seam detail on the shoulders and body panel and ribbed v-neck, armholes and welt; while the on-trend ‘Falmouth’ zip-neck long-sleeve cotton sweater features seam detail on the body and sleeves.

The ‘Shandwick’ and ‘Melville’ are each available in three multi colourways, with a Glenmuir woven tab at the left side seam, and the ‘Bodmin’ and ‘Falmouth’ each boast three solid colour designs and the iconic Glenmuir 1891 logo embroidered on the shoulder/sleeve.

In addition, this season Glenmuir has added new colour options for two of its best-selling solid colour lightweight Men’s Supersoft Cotton garments – the ‘Thornton’ short-sleeve v-neck slipover and ‘Eden’ v-neck sweater. Four new shades have been added to the ‘Thornton’ – bringing the total to 11 – and with seven new hues the ‘Eden’ line-up now totals 16.

Glenmuir’s new Spring/Summer 2012 catalogue features more than 130 products for Men, Lady and Junior golfers. Fashion, styling, colour and performance are at the heart of the product range development, with two brand new contemporary colour palettes – Provence (blacks, winter whites, purple and pink); Antigua (navy, blue and white).
