Ionix Carry Bag from Wilson Staff
Wilson Golf has refreshed its bag range for 2012 with the launch of the Wilson Staff Ionix carry bag, featuring a new ‘Rocker’ stand system that allows for better placement and pick-up activation, while providing the ultimate blend of lightweight performance, durability and comfort for the serious golfer.
The Ionix, weighing only 2.4kg, features a new integrated ‘Rocker’ stand that delivers greater stability and durability, thanks to a compact base that avoids potentially damaging contact when lifting the bag on and off the course.
The innovative automatic stand activates when the sturdy base touches the ground – making it easier and quicker to place the bag between shots.
“Thanks to the new ‘Rocker’ stand base, the Ionix is the ideal bag choice for the avid club-carrying golfer,” said Jean-Pierre Degembe, Wilson Golf Global Director of Softgoods. ”We place a high priority on providing players with unrivalled comfort and a wide array of features that will optimise their performance and enjoyment on the course.”
The new carry bag also makes use of the popular Wilson Swivelmax dual strap for greater comfort on the shoulders, while clubs are cushioned perfectly thanks to a five-way club divider with TPE double-moulded anti-scratch shaft protection.
Designed for supreme convenience and functionality, the Ionix incorporates seven closed pockets, including a special waterproof No-H20TM pocket; plus a large clothing and range finder compartment.
The Wilson Staff Ionix carry bag comes in four colour options – white with black/red trim, black with white trim, red with black/white trim and royal blue with white/black trim – and will be available from February 2012.
