Titleist Unveil State-of-the-Art Fitting Centre at Celtic Manor

As a market-leader in custom-fitting, Titleist utilises golf’s most advanced fitting tools and teams of highly-skilled fitters to provide a global network of club fitting services. This network ensures that serious golfers around the world can access a Titleist club fitting service and underlines Titleist’s philosophy of ‘Better Fit. Better Game.’ Building on the success ofTitleist’s National Fitting Centres in the UK and Ireland, at St. Ives Golf Club in Cambridgeshire, Kings Acre Golf Club near Edinburgh and the G.U.I National Academy at Carton House near Dublin, Titleist is further expanding its fitting network with the announcement of a National Fitting Centre based at The Celtic Manor Resort in South Wales.

Opening to the public on October 31st, the new facility will be run by Celtic Manor’s highly-trained teaching professionals who will provide guests with the same fitting processes, equipment and technology that have helped the likes of Titleist Brand Ambassadors Rory McIlroy, Matteo Manassero and Adam Scott claim victories across the worldwide professional tours this year.

Each of the Titleist National Fitting Centres are fully equipped with state-of-the-art technology, an extensive range of the latest Titleist club product, including the 910 metals, 712 series irons and SM4 wedges, and array of shaft options. Each fitting for a 910 metal benefits from the innovative SureFit Tour technology, which allows for independent loft and lie adjustment, while fittings for the new 712 series irons, due for launch in mid-November, use an equally innovative, dual-angle SureFit hosel system that allows both interchangeable heads and shafts and for two different lie angles to be achieved from a single club-head.

Such Titleist-developed fitting technology helps to ensure a precise and efficient club fitting service for the player. Club fittings at the Titleist National Fitting Centres also utilise Trackman Pro launch monitors, which use radar technology to provide a complete statistical analysis of each shot. Trackman Pro has the capacity to analyse the club at impact, the ball flight down range and provide a whole host of invaluable statistics that the Titleist fitters can use to determine the ideal club specification for the player.
