New Websites for Bunker Mentality & Queen of the Green

Bunker Mentality

Bunker Mentality one of Europe's most fashionable golf clothing brands launched its brand new website. The brand has been working on the project for over a year making sure the new site is ultra current with quite stunning results.

Bunker-Mentality.com has several new sections which allows for more effective marketing and communication of all aspects of the brand covering tour players, ambassadors, the BunkerFEST golf event, Bunker Magazine, a gallery and the innovative New Dress Code section which plans to help customers create entire clothing outfits. The new site also maximises the commercial benefits of the brands already solid connections to social media site like Facebook and Twitter. Customers can now easily let their entire Facebook friends network know what they ‘like’, whether it be a product or Bunker news article.

Brand Director Robert Hart said: “We set out to create a new international platform for golf fashion and expression and I think we have achieved this now. We wanted to ensure our brands unique DNA remains the same wherever in the world people buy it and that our communication is consistent in all markets. We can now communicate more effectively with our customers around the world and they can get more involved in with the brand. This new website is a major strategic arm of our business and we are delighted with it.”

The ecommerce functionality of the site has improved dramatically making it very straight forward to order products with as few clicks as possible. Using pop up windows showing stock by size when the customer scrolls over a picture allows the customer to move easily to products in which the size they are looking for is available. On top of this having a two page check out makes it quicker for customers at the basket end of the buying process and provides a detailed conformation of their order.

Hart says “the ecommerce improvements are fantastic and will make it very simple for both the customers and for our warehouse staff. We previously had a very effective system, but customers will gain so much more confidence using this new system. The content management system is superb now. It’s a great website and we are very excited about it.”

Queen of the Green

Earlier this year Bunker Mentality launched its ladies brand ‘Queen of the Green’ and have now backed this up with a dedicated website for the brand. The site has a full ecommerce platform and a strong community section which will allow the brand to focus on women and womens golf worldwide.

Queenofthegreen.com has sveral features such as a 'look book' and ‘magazine’ which are linked to the brands social media sites, all of which is dedicated to womens golf, making the site unique in the golf industry. The brand sponsors four British tour players on the LET, each player having their own page where they can let fans know how they are progressing throughout their golfing season.

Brand Director Robert Hart said: “We wanted to set a new standard for a womens golf brand and we believe with this site that we are on the way to achieving this. Over time Queenofthgreen.com will become a unique platform for womens golf and fashion. The structure and functionality of the site will allow us to market and communicate directly with women worldwide who want the latest golf fashion.

Going forward we want to expand both our collections and the magazine approach to the site by communicating all aspects of the game – from fashion to beauty on the golf course.
