Golfshake Helps Get Your Game on Track

By: Golf Shake | Fri 16 Sep 2011

We've been stat tracking for over 10 years and analysing the data of 100,000s of rounds and it makes very interesting reading to see how the average golfer stacks up.

Our research shows that tracking your game online is a great way to monitor your performance and lower your handicap with the average golfer saving 3 shots over a year, plus remember even the Pros do it!

For sure the stats can be subjective and we all know greens are more important to hit then the fairways, some of the time!

But rather than fire out stats for the average golfer we have released a number of exciting updates that will now tell you how your game stacks up based on your handicap and our benchmarks.  Plus we have created some round recorders and visual shot trackers which you can buy online to make tracking your game easier.

Are you a 10 handicapper who putts like a 22 handicapper ?

The Golfshake score tracker will now tell you this plus allow you to set targets for your game.

Not just analysis of your game & stats but details of your strengths & weaknesses.

Data becomes available from the new look analysis section or for individual rounds from the stats page.

Working with your PGA Pro or Golf Coach they can also set your targets and provide feedback on your round or game.

The system analyses your data across 14 key stats including:

  • FIR, GIR
  • Scrambling, Sand Save
  • PPR, PPGIR ,3 putt%
  • Score
  • Penalties
  • Pars Made, Birdie Chances Converted
  • Par 3,4 & 5 averages

Adding a round and stats takes minutes and the system will automatically send you an email round report showing your stats and the system provides access to a round snapshot which you can share online via your social networks as well as in-depth data from the round report and a game breakdown from the 'How did I do' report.

The score tracker provides over 50 stats for an individual rounds which are analysed through our system in over 30 reports.
