PING - Household Brand

With Apple's recent announcement of new products and updates the name of PING will soon be known to many non golfers around the world.

Apple's new Ping Music Social Network, described as 'Facebook and Twitter meets iTunes',  launched yesterday with a name synonymous to golfers and now to non golfers throughout the world.

In a press statement released by Ping and Karsten Manufacturing Corporation, PING have announced a trademark agreement with Apple to use the PING name in association with the social media discovery tool.

John Solheim, Chairman and CEO of Karsten Manufacturing Corporation and PING said.  

"Like PING, Apple carries a reputation for innovation and quality.  I have always had great respect for companies that have changed and improved the ways things are done and I continue to model PING along those lines.  Apple is a truly great example of this kind of enterprise."

Now the name of PING will be know not only to golfers but to users of Apple products throughout the world.
