Callaway unveils their groundbreaking GPS system - The uPRO

Callaway today announces the launch (in the UK only) of the revolutionary uPro distance measuring device, the only dedicated golf GPS system that delivers actual hi-resolution aerial photography of golf courses to clearly define hazards, yardages and hole layouts.

ProMode™ – Supplies aerial photography and industry-leading graphics to allow golfers to accurately visualise every golf hole they play.

BasicMode™ – Accesses the same massive database of courses as ProMode™ and contains free offerings of Green View (accurate distances to the front, centre and back of the green) and Hazard View (distance to the front and back of all hazards, as well as the type of hazard).

Utilising the best from both GPS devices and rangefinders, Callaway uPro ProMode™ features AnyPoint™ Technology, which allows golfers to acquire accurate distances from any spot on the golf course. ProMode™ also features the Virtual Green View, which uses a proprietary imagery process that shows the green and its surrounding area in vivid detail with precise distances.

The Callaway uPro has already received significant industry acclaim.
US-based Popular Science Magazine featured it in its annual Best of What’s New Awards, which are in their 22nd year and showcase the Top 100 technological innovations of the year.
