New all-in-one clubs package and hot new range of performance golf balls to help all improving women golfers shoot better scores, more often .

Chessington, February 12th, 2010 – Callaway Golf today announces the exciting launch of Solaire, a completely new range of women’s golf products specifically designed to make the game easier for mid-to-high handicap players.

Headlining the range is the new Solaire Package Set that features Energy Efficient Design that optimises every element of the golf club’s performance and was developed after extensive research into the swing characteristics of a wide range of women golfers.

New lightweight club heads featuring draw configurations and higher lofts, as well as lighter grips and shafts, allow women to efficiently swing the club with power and generate increased distance throughout the set, which comes in a 9-club option.

The new 9-piece Solaire Set is designed to allow beginners to go straight from the shop to the course with everything they need to get the ball up in the air and down the fairway. The set consists of an all-titanium driver, a stainless steel fairway wood, two hybrids, an iron, two wedges, a mallet putter and a versatile cart bag.

Complementing the Package Set launch is the new Solaire Golf Ball that has been exclusively engineered to bring out the best in every woman’s game and features a distinctive luminous finish that will add a touch of flair during any round.

It is designed to perform at slower swing speeds and uses Callaway’s exclusive HEX aerodynamics, and a soft, resilient core that has been specifically formulated to provide increased carry and distance on all shots. The Balls are available in Pure White or High Visibility Pink, to give a distinctive, fashionable edge.
