NEC Golf Show 3rd year in a row

By: Darren Ramowski | Mon 09 Nov 2009

NEC Golf ShowThe NEC Golf show will be back for it's 3rd year from the 27th to 29th November with advanced tickets from £10.

Stars to Shine for Golf Show

A host of famous faces will be heading to the NEC Golf Show when it returns for its third outing from November 27-29.

Former British number-one tennis player Tim Henman will be visiting the show for the second time while ex-England goalkeeper David Seaman, former England cricket captain Alec Stewart and snooker star Willie Thorne will all be making their third visit to the event.

Speaking at last year’s show, Seaman said: “It’s a great show. I love coming up here every year.

“It's just getting bigger and bigger every time and there’s all sorts here, everything you need to know about golf.

“Shows like this are great for golf. It gets all the companies in one place so you can walk round and test different products against each other.”

Free Golf

There’s nothing better than free golf, and that’s exactly what every visitor to the NEC Golf Show will be getting… twice!

The owners of Perton Park and Swindon Golf Club are giving every visitor to the show a free round of golf at each venue and all they have to do is visit their stand.  Golfers will receive a voucher for a free round of golf at Perton Park, Wolverhampton, and when it is redeemed, as well as a tee time, they’ll be given a second voucher to use at sister club Swindon, near Dudley.

UKKO Step out in Style

UKKO will be there in the official public launch of their luxury British golf fashion brand which offers golfers a contemporary style with ‘green to bar appeal’.

The label is currently only available from a small number of selected retail outlets and this is the first time it is going out to the golfing public en masse. To mark the occasion UKKO has signed up as official clothing partner of the show, meaning staff will be modelling lines from its current autumn/winter 2009 collection.

The NEC Golf Show takes place at Birmingham’s National Exhibition Centre from November 27-29 and will showcase everything golf from big-brand equipment to the latest gadgets and the best places to play and stay.
