How to Attend the 2018 Masters

By: Golfshake Editor | Wed 12 Apr 2017

Have you been inspired by the incredble battle between Sergio Garcia and Justin Rose? The Masters is on the proverbial 'bucket list' for most golfers, and it's easier than you may think to secure entry to the first men's major of the year in 2018. You can experience the majesty of Augusta National and savour the iconic vistas including Amen Corner.

The first option is to apply from the annual lottery. This method has been available for a few years now, and will generally become open in May. Create an account and you could apply to enter the ballot for either the practice day or daily tournament tickets, which are drawn separately throughout this year. Usually in June and later August. Practice round tickets costs $65, and each entry can request up to four tickets per day. Tournament rounds are $100 each.

Many people from the UK have been successful in securing passes through this avenue, and the onus is on them to plan the trip and arrange both flights and accomodation ahead of the 82nd Masters next April.

However, if you have saved up and want to ensure that you'll be there, packages are available from golf travel providers, who will ensure tickets, hotels and travel, in addition to rounds of golf depending on which level of option you choose. Golfbreaks.Com are just one of those brands, and provide a number of attractive offers for people looking to make that historic pilgrimage to Georgia. Click here for more details.

If you decide to make 2018 the year that you experience the wonder of Augusta National and the Masters Tournament, let us know about it!
