By: Golfshake Editor | Fri 13 Jan 2017

We me only be a fortnight into 2017, but 23-year-old Justin Thomas has already taken 2017 by storm, having become the seventh player to break 60 on the PGA Tour just days after securing the Tournament of Champions title.

He is the youngest to have achieved that milestone on the circuit, which has come just months after newly crowned U.S. Ryder Cup Captain Jim Furyk set a new benchmark with a 58.

Breaking 60: Roll of Honour on PGA Tour

59. Al Geiberger: 1977 Memphis Classic

59. Chip Beck: 1991 Los Angeles Invitational

59. David Duval: 1999 Bob Hope Classic

59. Paul Goydos: 2010 John Deere Classic

59. Stuart Appleby: 2010 Greenbrier Classic

59. Jim Furyk: 2013 BMW Championship

58. Jim Furyk: 2016 Travelers Championship
