Do-it-yourself golf head cover - Blankc Golf

By: | Mon 07 Nov 2016

I first spotted Luggs in a picture on a tweet with Sir Ian Botham who was promoting his Beefy Charity Foundation.

I was intrigued and wanted to know more. Could any logo be replicated? What was it all about? I checked out the Blankcgolf.com website and all became apparent.  BlankC golf is the first do-it-yourself golf head cover company.

DIY Golf Head Cover

Luggs is the first character of the BlankC golf range.  The head cover is a blank canvas for you to create your own masterpiece and stand out from the crowd. Get creative; draw, paint, scribble and dress up your golf head covers.

The unique design is a soft vinyl that has a foam inner and cotton sock that will protect the golf club head and shaft of the driver and is designed to fit a 460cc driver or any fairway wood.

The first thing I noticed when he arrived by post was the good build quality. The web site is easy to follow and has some great pictures of other people’s projects.

Does it work? It is very easy to use, is light and balances well in the bag. It is sturdy enough to offer club protection and some of the finished projects (completed by better artists then me) look stunning.

He is also a very lucky chap as his first time out coincided with my first tournament win of the year. Check out the G4L report from the Centurion Club, London.

He is a bit of a marmite item. You either love it, or hate it.

Playing at the recent G4L event he attracted lots of positive comments from the mainly younger players. Some of my regular playing partners (who are much older....., sorry Jerry!) were less than complimentary.

However, he will be staying with me as I like the design.

It’s a great way for the Golfshake logo to be displayed and I can see them being used, adorned with corporate logos, for future corporate days.

They also provide better overall protection than the new sleeve type head cover issued with most clubs now. He also stands up to air travel and is washable.

If you are looking for a unique head cover this is a perfect item for you to consider for Xmas.  I really like the football version and it would be easy to show your team’s colours and design.

Check out the www.blankcgolf.com website for more information.
