Hickory Challenge with Michael Vaughan and Kevin Pietersen

By: Golfshake Editor | Thu 06 Oct 2016

The Alfred Dunhill Links Championship brings together some of the world's leading professional golfers with many of those famous faces who enjoy the game recreationally. Played across the legendary Old Course at St. Andrews, the revered Open venue Carnoustie, and the modern classic of Kingsbarns, it is an annual celebration of the game in its purest form.

So, it would be appropriate therefore to put together a challenge involving hickory clubs, which harkens back to golf's historic past. Two of England's most decorated cricketers, Michael Vaughan and Kevin Pietersen, were tasked with hitting some shots with those clubs whose origins date back to more than a century ago.

And, as you would expect, things got more than a touch competitive.
