Bishop Wins at Wokefield

Jim Bishop (5) gave the Gtour yet another maiden winner as he won the third major of the year after clinching the Golfbreaks.com trophy.

Bishop had a stunning round of gross 73 playing off five, which included four birdies to post 39 points, good enough for a one point victory to take the title.

Yet again the Gtour provided a great days golf for everyone involved with good weather and some great score coming in from De Vere's Wokefield Park.

The Return of a Legend

This week's Omega European Masters at Crans-sur-Sierre see the return of a golfing legend.

Greg Norman returns to the sport after 12 months out through a shoulder injury that required surgery.

The Great White Shark returns to the venue where he first played back in 1980. I am delighted to see him back in action.

Major Venue Means Major Renovation

Quail Hollow Club has just been added to the illustrious list of hosting a major by the PGA of America.

The North Carolina venue will host the 2017 PGA Championship after it recived the thumbs ups from governing bodies after recently revieved Quail Hollow championships which is a long running sanctioned event on the PGA Tour.

Golf 66 Pro Tour Latest Results

 

Former European Tour player Mike Mclean won the 9th event of the season with a superb -6 total over 36 holes at the Farnham Golf Club in Surrey.

The former Portugese Open champion carded rounds of 67 and 71 to leave him two shots clear of the chasing pack.

Blossoming Rose
